Starting something new or different can shake up a whole nerve of emotions. From feelings of fear to feelings of doubt, not knowing where or how to begin may lead to not starting in the first place.
Before I had even approached University, I began to feel those daunting nerves of fear. Fear that I would not know anyone, fears that I would not understand the course, just fears that made me doubt whether or not I should start. My mind went backwards and forwards contemplating what to do. I wanted to start University but I also did not know what would be in store if I did. Despite working towards this goal that I had I was completely blindsided by the approaching fears and just didn't know if I could go.
Whether starting a new course or a new approach to learning, not knowing if you can do something might cross your thoughts. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4: 13 (New International Version) that "I can do all this through him who gives me strength" regardless of what we have or don't have, think or feel. Christ has the ability to strengthen us in all situations.
Knowing and applying this truth can change those feelings of not knowing if you can to believing that with Christ you can. Our encouragement to you all as a new week is starting is to hold on to and apply this truth.
Keep Blossoming and Blooming
